This privacy policy of the Hotel Artus is an annex to the GTC ("General Terms and Conditions") and therefore has contractual value. In case of contradiction between the GTC and the present policy, the GTC will prevail, which the user of our sites acknowledges and accepts.
This personal data protection policy reflects Hotel Artus 's desire to be completely transparent with site users about how it manages their personal data and incorporates the latest requirements of applicable legislation and regulations, in particular the European Regulation on the protection of personal data (RGPD).

Article 1. What is the purpose of the Privacy Policy?
The purpose of this Personal Data Protection Policy is to inform the User of the manner in which the Hotel Artus manages the personal data of the users of its websites, whether or not they are customers (hereinafter "Users").

The only recipients of Users' personal data are :
- the relevant departments and employees of the Hotel Artus and the Biografy Group (in particular: IT, sales/marketing and operational departments) who are bound by specific data protection obligations;
- the companies that assist the Hotel Artus in the operation and/or exploitation of the sites;
- The subcontractors of our hotels.
These structures only receive the personal information strictly necessary to make a reservation and to call back clients.
The processing of personal data by these structures is carried out in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
Article 5. What are the rights of the Users concerning the collected personal data?
The User has access to the rights detailed in Chapter III of the GDPR, including the following rights:
- Right of access to personal data collected on the Website
- Right to modify/rectify them,
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), unless there is a legal reason for us to keep it,
- Right to restrict processing, i.e. the right to ask us in certain cases to suspend the processing of personal data,
- Right to data portability, i.e. the right to request a copy of one's personal data in a common format (e.g. a .csv file),
- Right to object to the processing of personal data,
- Individual decision and profiling rights, i.e. the right to ask us to be transparent about any profiling we do or any automated decisions,
All these rights apply to data processing carried out via the Hotel Artus website and requesting personal information (registration forms, contact requests, booking confirmations, etc.). The User also has the right to file a complaint with the Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés (CNIL), the supervisory authority for data protection issues in France(www.cnil.fr).

Article 6. For how long are personal data collected?
Users' personal data is stored in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

Article 7. How are personal data protected?
The Hotel Artus is very vigilant about the security of personal data and takes all reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of personal data.
The personal data collected is stored by the Hotel Artus or its service providers, and is protected by means of physical and electronic access controls, firewall technologies and other reasonable security measures.
However, such measures cannot prevent all risks of loss, access, misuse or alteration of the personal information collected. Where required by law, Artus shall notify the User of any loss, access, misuse or alteration of his or her personal data, so that the User may take the appropriate steps to enforce his or her rights. The Hotel Artus will notify the User electronically, by mail or by telephone, if permitted by law.
The User is requested not to transmit payment information or sensitive information by e-mail or in sections not intended for this purpose (for example, sending a credit card number by e-mail).
The User is also informed that he/she always has the possibility to choose the personal data he/she wishes to provide.
However, their decision not to provide certain data may affect their experience with the services. For example, we cannot make anonymous reservations and, if we are not permitted to disclose your personal data to our group hotels, we may not be able to provide certain reservation or other services.
Similarly, if the User does not authorize us to disclose his/her personal data to third parties, such as Hotel Artus 's subcontractors (transfer service, concierge service, ...), we may not be able to provide the full range of possible services or the provision of such services may be delayed. We will do our best to respond to your request as soon as possible.
